Welcome — I’m Glad You Found This Little Corner of the Internet
If you’ve ever looked at your backyard and thought, “There has to be more I can do with this space” — you’re in the right place.
Backyard Mini Farms is a blog built for everyday beginners who want to grow food, raise small animals, and build a more self-sufficient life — without needing acres of land, expensive equipment, or years of farming experience.
My Story
It all started in my small backyard in Lahore, where I stood one sweltering June evening, covered in sweat, staring at a patch of struggling seedlings and wondering what went wrong.
I had done everything I thought was right. I’d watched videos, read articles, and felt ready. But my first harvest was a disaster — and honestly, it nearly convinced me to quit.
I didn’t quit. Instead, I got curious.
I started experimenting — with layouts, with soil, with livestock like rabbits, with daily routines that actually fit a busy life. Some experiments failed spectacularly. Others doubled my harvest. I documented all of it.
That’s how Backyard Mini Farms was born: from real mistakes, real wins, and a genuine passion for making small-space farming work.
